The Customer Experience World Games

The idea of playing games to help others in a crisis may sound odd, but that is exactly what has happened. By invitation, good and talented individuals from the world of customer experience collaborate to create a positive impact for organisations looking to improve outcomes for their customers, employees, communities and society in general.

What are the Customer Experience World Games?

The Customer Experience World Games launched in March 2020 as a response to Covid-19. It was an opportunity for the CX community across the globe to come together and make a difference in the pandemic crisis. The significant talent pool were asked to create outstanding experiences to help others during the global Covid-19 lockdown. This included charities, social causes and independent retailers.

Following the success of the original games, the idea has become a movement. A movement which will now travel the world helping others improve outcomes using the spirit of the Customer Experience World Games approach.

We will be often running one-off as well as annual CXWG events. If you would like to volunteer your CX talent to help others, we’d be delighted to welcome you as a player.

Why Take Part in Future Games?

Customer Experience professionals, academics and practitioners collaborate in teams to solve challenges presented by organisations trying to make experience improvements for their customers, employees, communities and society in general.

The games will be played out in our own live event format, virtually or as a theatre within another CX event. There are typically 3 rounds with a judging panel agreeing which team’s entry is the most awesome. All entries are passed back to the organisation who posed them to help them during the crisis.
